The "Account of Sundry Things" includes a variety of purchases, such as lemons, a pair of gloves, shoeing a horse, a paint brush, whale bones, and trips to Walpole, and Boston. The volume provides a glimpse into the daily life of a New England lady in the 19th century.

Nancy Snow, of Mansfield, Massachusetts, kept this account book during the years 1844-1847 when she was in her mid twenties. The account book was composed within a repurposed school book. Nancy used a Guide to Chirography text book to record her daily purchases.
